Donations when adopting a Cat or Kittens
Although I state on the site that the average donation is £50 for an adult cat or kitten, that doesnt mean we demand double that figure for a pair, but of course anything over and above the initial £50 is very much appreciated.
As we now offer Vaccination and free Microchipping, we would also ask you to consider donating a little bit extra, maybe another £10 to help toward the cost of this very
expensive gesture on our part.
Often its not realised the costs that we have when taking in a cat or kitten, many people think we dont have any Vets fees to pay, well, we do, we have to pay consultation fees and medicinal and surgical fees just like anyone else. In fact, during the first week a cat is with us, we average a cost of over £300 with that fee going up day by day, and when you consider that many cats are with us for months and months, the cost can be staggering.
Although a Donation isnt compulsary, we would like to think you would offer a donation in order to help us afford the next cat we need to bring into our care.
All I ask is that you check how much it would cost to buy a kitten from a Pet Shop, and remember that kitten isnt as lucky as ours, and doesnt have the benefits of a Cats Protection kitten or Cat. It isnt vaccinated, It isnt wormed or de-flead, it isnt microchipped, nor will it be unless you pay for all these extras. We do it all for you, where will you find benefits better than these?

ADOPTION PROCEDURE FOR KITTENS !

of affection, yet deeply yearning for it, Devon, now neutered, will soon be looking for a forever home where she will get all the love and care she never received during her early kitten days. Devon is semi long haired, so you must be prepared to groom her, and at the moment she is still a little scared of everything around her as she has never known life outside of the flat she lived in.

Please Note:- All cats who arrive into our care who have been used to living totally indoors, appear timid and shy whilst in our outdoor pens, this is because they are frightened by all the noises and the sense of danger they feel being taken out of the environment they know and trust, given time, in a new home they will blossom into the loving cat they once were.
All adult cats in our care have
been thoroughly Vet checked, treated to prevent Fleas and Worms, Vaccinated and tested
negative against Feline Aids and Leukemia if required, neutered, microchipped and come with 6
weeks free Insurance from PetPlan. Our Kittens are also all of the above, except we dont neuter kittens as young as 10 weeks.
You will need a solidly made cat carrier in order to transport your cat home, if you havent got one, we can supply a second hand one at prices between £5 and £10.
