Kitten Litters

If you have a litter of kittens you wish Cats Protection to take into our care and rehome. Please fill out the form below.  Please make sure you fill in all the boxes requested, and give correct information.

We take kittens in at 8 weeks of age, but if they are proving a problem and are at least 7 weeks we will consider taken them in at 7 weeks. If you have filled in a form previously about the kittens, and you now wish us to take them a week earlier, use the contact page to email us, giving us as many details as possible from your previous application, name, address etc.

It's extremely important that you do not tell us incorrect ages, the correct age is important as certain health checks we do are only worth while doing at the correct age.

We would ask you to donate the entire litter, not part litters, then if you want to adopt one back, or indeed a friend or neighbour wishes to do so, they can.

The reason we do this, is again related to the health checks we do.  How would you feel if the worst happened, and we discovered that the kittens were carrying Feline Aids, and you had rehomed it to your best friend?

Remember, the Queen will come into season again, as soon as she stops feeding those kittens, so, she will need neutering, as soon as her milk has gone, which is around 2 weeks later.

If you are need of assistance with the cost, then click the associated box on the form.

If you have a landline telephone number, please give us that in preference to a mobile number as the Charity really wants to spend all its money on the cats not on phone calls, and calls to mobiles are way too expensive.

Giving us an email address, means we can confirm your request at no charge, plus your confirmation comes through quicker.
