A lady in the USA has invented a kit for toilet training your cat.
And I do mean toilet training !
"When I moved from a large home in Pennsylvania to a small apartment in New York City there was no place to hide my cat's litter box" said CitiKitty founder Rebecca Rescate. 'The thought that my guests could see and smell the litter box stressed me out. After telling a friend my situation I jokingly mentioned toilet training my cat. That was the day CitiKitty was born"

Milk Good For Cats???? Maeve Moorcroft Vet
Dear Julie
Im one of the vets who writes for PetPlanet and withing to interfere, I thought it might help if you knew a bit of the 'science' behind why some cats cannot handle cows milk.
It is normally to do with Lactose - the sugar in milk. Cows milk has a lot of lactose but there is very little in queens and bitches milk, some kittens and pups lose the ability to digest lactose after they have been weaned. In these animals, it will cause diarrhoea every time they have it.
Most animals can handle cows milk and it is a good food for growing animals because of the Calcium etc. Obviously, you need to introduce it slowly if they have never had it before. The special Cat Milk is very good aswell. My Cat, Gnasher, loves cows milk, but it makes him vomit spectacularly if he has more than a tiny amount, so he only gets a little bit now and then as a special treat!
Hope this helps,
Maeve Moorcroft MVB MRCVS

This tip I think would work on a tempory basis, providing it wouldnt harm your sofa worse than the cat would.
Place some double sided tape down the areas where the cat sharpens its claws !
Cats dont like anything sticky on their paws, so this one should work very well, providing you dont stick to it as well !
If the residue of the urine isn’t completely removed, the Cat, or indeed another
Cat will urinate on top of it in order to gain supremacy over the original Cat.
So can this be effectively removed?
There are lots of products on the market, all quite effective, but some very expensive,
so I intend to tell you one of those tips passed down from Granny’s day.
It works ! Try it !

Please visit the page entitled Allergic to Cats?
http://www.cpnewcastle.co.uk/allergictocats.htm
where you will find lots of information on allergies to cats.

THIS PRODUCT ACTUALLY WORKS, AND IT DOES SO WITHOUT HARMING THE CAT IN ANY WAY !
I KNOW ! I HAVE TRIED IT !!!!
