Merlin & Tabitha - A Pair of 10 weeks Kittens- NO LONGER AVAILABLE - REHOMED
We are currently seeking a home for two kittens, brother & sister, who came into our care several weeks ago very poorly suffering from Cat Flu, but we are delighted to say that they are now totally fit and our Vet has cleared them to go to a new home. Merlin is a stunning all black male and his sister, Tabitha is a beautiful tabby female. The kittens were 2 from a litter of 4 ( sadly, we didn't get to the other two in time to save their lives) found in a stable, but despite their harsh start in life, they are now two of the most friendly, playful kittens you will ever meet. If you are interested in them, please fill in an application form now, by clicking on the CP logo link below. But remember, if you are planning a hectic Christmas, it is not a good idea to take kittens into the home when the atmosphere is in an exited state. Also please be aware tinsel, is attractive to kittens and will kill if eaten.
Cats Protection will supply vouchers for free vaccinations, chips and neutering at selected Vets for these kittens.
PLEASE NOTE THESE KITTENS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE
CHEEKY & CHARLIE - A DIRECT REHOMING - NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Here at the Newcastle Branch of Cats Protection we seldom offer cats for direct rehoming. We prefer the cats to be in our care and assessed by one of our own foster carers, but with older cats we make an exception as it is in the cats best interest to remain in surroundings they are used to if at all possible.
Cheeky and Charlie, originally were rehomed from Cats Protection and have been exceptionally well cared for over the years, so well in fact that they behave like cats half their age. But sadly their owner died suddenly without having made plans for her beloved cats.
Currently these two lovely boys are being cared for by the owners sister, who unfortunately cannot commit to having pets of her own due to work commitments, and here are some of the details provided by her regarding these two boys.
These two, as kittens were rescued from a drug den in Wallsend exactly 10 years ago this month. Both had been cruely treated to such an extent that Cheeky, the Black and White with the Huge eyes, cannot talk or purr, instead he makes snuffling noises when happy. He still thinks he is a tennages and continues to have his 'mad half hour', but is incredibly close to Charlie who he washes and cuddles up to to sleep.
Charlie, is laid back and practically sits on the Hoover when in use. He is extremely loving and adores Cheeky.
These boys only ever go as far as the front door to eat 'kitty grass' and then return inside the house.
If you feel you can offer these gorgeous 10 years olds a forever home, where they can live their lives surrounded with love, NO MORE APPLICATIONS FOR THESE PLEASE
Introducing Ambrose - A Very Friendly Boy - AMBROSE HAS NOW BEEN REHOMED

This is Ambrose, a very friendly neutered boy who has been living with ferals on a farm in the Dinnington area until it was noted that he was indeed, very friendly and obviously not a feral. He came into our care on the 17th November and has been given a clean bill of health from our Vet. He is neutered, chipped and has started his course of vaccinations.
Ambrose has now found a new home.
Introducing Kendra & Kyla - ON HOLD PENDING HOME VISIT
Mother & Daughter - Dumped in a cardboard box !
These two lovely cats were found in a box dumped in the Rosehill area of Wallsend. Why anyone would do such a cruel thing is beyond me, but someone certainly did. Both cats have had kittens, although none were found with them, so lets keep fingers crossed they found good homes. Mother, Kendra is aged around 2 years, and daughter, Kyla, about 18 months, so its more than likely that each have been giving birth repeatedly since the age of 6 months.
They are obviously still a bit traumatised, but we feel they would benefit from a kind loving home without small children, where they can learn to live a normal life once again. As you can see from the photos, they are very pretty girls, both being short haired Tri Tabbies. They are now neutered, chipped and have started a course of vaccinations. NO MORE APPLICATIONS FOR THIS PAIR
Meet Tiffany
THIS CAT IS NOW IN A NEW HOME This is Tiffany, a 3 year old female cat, who can no longer live at home due to the arrival of a baby. Not that we would condone rehoming a cat for that reason, on the contrary, evidence shows that a cat is actually a good pet to have when bringing up a child, and old wives tales, are exactly that, TALES !Tiffany has now been used to having a bit of freedom, so she would need a safe home where she would be able to go into the garden and go visit the neighbours without the dangers of a Main Road being too close.Tiffany will be neutered, chipped and a course of vaccinations started before being rehomed. This little queen would make an ideal companion cat, as she is very friendly and likes nothing better than a casual chat with you, so if you would like to meet her, then please click the CP LOGO link below and it can be arranged.
