FAQ

Working With Cats Protection North Tyneside

  1. Where is your shelter based?

CP North Tyneside have existed without a Shelter or Premises for 21 years.  We do have a shop, based at 164-166 High Street East, Wallsend, but that is strictly for raising the money we need to make sure the cats in our care are healthy, happy and find new homes. Until recently we were called CP Newcastle.

  2. Have You Any Paid Vacancies ?

CP North Tynesdie do not have ANY paid workers.

We only have volunteers who work, either in our shop to fundraise, or work from home, looking after cats or kittens.

Some volunteers, trap, others do Home Visits.

All, however, need access to their own transport.

  3. Can I work at the shop when I have spare time?

You can, however, we would expect you to be able to work the same hours on a regular basis.

Its no good popping in as and when you want to, as the shop could have more than enough volunteers on those days, and not enough on others.

Shop Volunteers, have to work to a Rota, or chaos would rule.

CP CATS NEEDING HOMES

We always have adult cats seeking new homes, our Cats are fully vaccinated, chipped and neutered, and come with 4 weeks free Insurance from PetPlan.

There is an Adoption Fee of £50 required, and of course if you wish to add a donation on top of that, we would be very grateful indeed. As you can imagine, neutering costs alone are eaten up by the adoption fee.

Visit the page to see the cats available by clicking this LINK or selecting the page in the top menu bar.
